Sponsors

Sponsors allows you to monetize your site by allowing companies or individuals to sponsor your nodes. The sponsor’s name will appear underneath the node block on the node list.

To navigate to Sponsors, go to ACP > Monetize > Sponsors > Manage sponsors.

Enable sponsors directory - This option enables a page that will have a list of all active sponsors marked with “Show in directory”. The page will have a link in the footer. Note: Enable sponsors directory can also be set under Options by navigating to ACP > Monetize > Options > Sponsors.

Adding a sponsor

To add a sponsor, under Manage sponsors click Add sponsor.

Title - Enter the name of the sponsor which will appear to the user.

URL - Enter the link for the website users should be directed to when they click on the name or icon of the sponsor next to the node.

Image - Enter the URL for an image which will be displayed in the node block.

Width - Enter the width you want the image to be in pixels.

Height - Enter the height you want the image to be in pixels.

Active - Check this box for the sponsor to be enabled. Each sponsor can be individually enabled or disabled.

Show in directory - Check this box for the sponsor to appear in the sponsors directory. A sponsor must also be active in order to appear in the directory.

Adding a sponsor to a node

After a sponsor has been added in Monetize, go to ACP > Monetize > Sponsors > Nodes and select the node you want to add a sponsor to. Then look for the option Sponsor and select the name of the sponsor from the drop down. Click ‘Save’.
